| L-1011-385-1-15
Saudi Arabian Airlines |
|
The powerful look of the L-1011 is softened
somewhat by the tan and white Saudi Arabian livery. This is an excellent
model, with a fine paint job and top-of-the-line assembly.

United Airlines (new colors) |

Excellent all around, and well worth getting.
New livery. I
just got so I liked the old livery, and they spring this new one
on me! The old livery still seems more business-like, but maybe
the new one will grow on me.

A good model that has been around since at
least 2002. The paint on the nacelles is a bit flat or even on the
orange peel side.

| AN-124
Volga-Dnepr Group |
|
A big model of a big airplane, well painted and assembled.
Livery. The Voga-Dnepr
livery is so Russian and so '50s, with blue stripes and red wing
tips. I used to paint red wing tips on my Aurora plastic model kits
in the 50's. Don't know why, just did.
Design. It is odd that
GeminiJets decided to mount the wings in a plate that fits over
the top of the fuselage. Dragon Wings fit the wings
of the C-5B into slots on the sides of the model, which is a
much better method.
