Hercules, Delta Air Freighter, Widget colors |
Limited
edition. Wonderful little tarmac trundler,
very well made and definitely cute. The model was produced with the
usual GeminiJets high quality, with well applied paint and little
tires that actually spin.
In a rare booboo, one of the exterior tanks was lose and had to be
re-glued. Also, the model is almost a tail-sitter, though the problem
can be controlled by pointing a finger at it and sternly saying "no-no".
Be sure you get one of these little guys before they're available
only on the after-market.

Hercules, JASDF |
Limited
edition. Blinded by blue. The reason this
color is such a great camouflage is you can't stand to stare at if
for very long. Anyway, color aside, this is a well done model, with
good paint and assembly. The wheels and props turn, and the painted
insignia is sharp and well placed. I do miss the larger Hinomarus
used during WWII.
Not a charmer like the Delta, but worth getting
just because of its uniqueness.
This model is displayed with its update
partner in the left-hand column.
