On the D90, this is the Set Picture
Control set to Standard, with the Saturation within that category set to
one minus zero (one notch left of center).
With this setting, the model looks much too bright and orange, which kept
me up all night... |

set to Neutral, with the Saturation within that category set to two minus
zero (two notches left of center).
This is what the model actually looks like, which is rather dull... |

This is the brightness and color I settled on, which is not the true color,
but it helps keep the pictures more interesting...
Sometime, take a model you bought from your favorite online retailer and
compare it to the pictures of the model taken by the retailer (or the manufacturer,
for that matter). You'll be amazed at the color differences! |
