Spitfire Mk VIII, Wing Commander Robert Gibbes

Aviation Archive - War in the Pacific. A Corgi effort from 2005. My, how things have changed, with new manufacturers coming out with updated molds and such. Anyway, this is a nice model for its time. Unfortunately, it has the usual nicks and dings from the factory, common with Corgi models during the period (note the chipped paint at the tip of the rudder).
