Aviation Archive collection. Excellent model with good colors and fine workmanship.

Aviation Archive collection. Very nice model, a real pleasure to look at. Details are well executed.

Haunted editor. Look for the misspelling of Hurricane on the box.

Description. Nice model, but not as well executed as some. Has a unique greenish-tan underside, highlighted by coal black under the port wing. The landing-gear fit was good, and the gear pegs didn't have to be trimmed (thank you, Corgi!).

Sloppy repair work. Something happened at the factory to the black-painted area under the port wingtip. A repair worker cleaned the area and then repainted it with a semi-gloss paint (or the second coat of flat paint turned the texture to semi-gloss). The paint used in the repair didn't afix to the flat base and rubbed off. I'll try to fix the problem using the flat paint I normally use for waterline models. More later...

Flat-black woes. Scuffs and dings show up much more on darker flat colors. The black underwing on this model is covered with scuffs, and there is even a spot of dried super-glue.

Antenna. The aerial tilts backward and to one side.
