Legends collection. Impressive model, with good assembly quality and colorful paint job. Get a copy so you can just sit and contemplate that yellow!

Legends collection. A really fabulous model. The colors top and bottom are gorgeous and well applied. Really worth getting. The only drawback is Corgi's manufacturing problems with landing gear.

Landing gear saga. When I received this particular model the gear hung straight down (looking for all the world like bloodhound ears). My first thought was the production-line worker who glued the gear on probably didn't have the slightest idea what the gear was supposed to look like. My second thought was, why does Corgi let these manufacturing flaws get by? My third thought was, I have to fix it.

Plastic mechanic. After pushing the gear outward so that it was close to the correct angle, both legs broke off. I then trimmed and fit and super-glued the legs back on. However, the glue overflowed into the gear well and I scratched the underside of the wing with my X-acto knife. In the end I had to buy another copy of the model. However, the gear on the second model is almost as bad as the first, but I'm leaving it as is.

See my tale about the wings coming off in the 1/400 section.

Legends collection. A beautiful model with excellent colors. Even the landing gear fits! Should be a part of everyone's Legends collection.
