War Over the East. I own this model due
to a series of unfortunate circumstances, including an order error
(which was corrected), and then being laid up due to a car accident,
followed by a vendor error which I couldn't fix because I was laid
up.
This snakes-on-a-plane model is probably one of the reasons Corgi
couldn't make ends meet. Before Hornby came along, Corgi seemed to
be obsessed with finding camo schemes that wouldn't be popular, and
which the vendors would be forced to sell at 80% off or even give
away as promotional gifts. Looking at it another way, I often buy
a less than attractive model on markdown, and end up being very pleased
with it. Unfortunatly, this is not one of those models. |
