Archive. WWII -
Europe & Africa. This is a 2003 "limited
edition" of 3,700 copies! I don't know whether the hobby was
more wide-spread back then, or Corgi had a surfeit of optimism. Now
days, a run of 1,500 is considered perhaps a little much. Anyway and
whatever, these models are currently hard to come by, so the years
seem to have taken care of any oversupply.
The model is well done and fit and finish is very good. I only wish
Corgi had produced more of these interesting camo schemes. They do
have a new checkered cowl version coming out in 2010, and, come to
think of it, that IS a long run for a diecast mold! |
