This is a surprisingly nice model of the Stuka. It has generally good
manufacturing quality, and despite the overall winter scheme, it has
lots of color and detail. The subtle shading on the spinner, spats
and wings is especially effective. The date on the hangar box is 2002,
and apparently this was the third Corgi Stuka produced. The Fw 190A
shown with the Stuka is the first of its type produced, so someone
at Corgi has (or, had) a thing for winter camo schemes. |
