F4U-1A Corsair, White 86 "Lucybelle", VMF-214, Maj. Boyington

Aviation Archive collection. Nice model, good colors, and generally well done. Landing gear covers fit better than usual for a Corgi model.

P-51D Mustang, "Kit Carson"
Legends collection. Fine detail with good colors, and good manufacturing quality. As with many Legacy models, the landing gear hangs crooked (in this case, the left side stalk turns in).

F4U-1 Corsair, White 576 "Marines's Dream", VMF-214, 1st Lt. Edwin L. Olander, Munda, October 1943

Aviation Archive collection. A superior, well done model in a great medium blue shade. Well worth getting.

P-47D Thunderbolt, Lt. Fred Christensen

Legends collection. Nicely done, and since it stands on its own landing gear you don't have to worry about a weak stand! (See my battle of the stand.) Colors are attractive. As with many Legacy models, the landing gear hangs crooked (again, the left side gear turns in -- someone at the factory must tilt their head when they apply the left-side gear).
