This model reminds me of the studio scene in the movie "The Uninvited"
(Ray Milland, 1944), in which the brother and sister are happily deciding
how they would like to decorate the room, when an evil spirit intrudes
to completly deflate their mood. You can almost forgive Corgi for
their mold of the "D" Mustang when you see Tempus
Fugit or Bunnie in the flesh
(so to speak), but this "plane jane" (pardon the pun) does
a credible job of accentuating the negatives, and, to parallel the
scene in the movie, deflate the desire to photograph any more series
Mustangs. Three ughs on this one. |
